Rooms
Rooms range from Lodge Rooms to One-Bedroom Chalets. Each unit includes a patio with pool views, a fully equipped kitchen, and a private bathroom with a bath. Some rooms feature a TV with satellite channels. Issues include worn mattresses, limited tea/coffee supplies, and no phone chargers by the bed.
Dining
A buffet breakfast is served daily. The on-site restaurant provides dinner with small portion sizes noted by guests. Drinks are available at the bar. Juice jars use a net cover instead of a sealed lid.
Leisure
The property has a small outdoor swimming pool with loungers. Game drives and guided walking tours are available. Guests can see small wildlife like antelope near the rooms. Hiking is possible in the surrounding bush.
Location
The lodge is 33 km from Makasa Nature Reserve. The driveway from the tar road is bumpy. No security patrols are along the access road. Public parking may require a long walk in rain.
“It's rare to find a place so deeply immersed in its surroundings; the reserve itself feels like an extension of the lodge, allowing for serene walks amongst local wildlife. The hospitality is notably attentive, readily adapting to requests, and the culinary experiences, particularly dinner, are truly first-class. This lodge cultivates a deeply relaxing atmosphere, underscored by beautifully maintained grounds and a delightful pool.”
