First Group La Rochelle offers three-bedroom apartments with two bathrooms. Each apartment includes a living room with a sofa and TV, a modern kitchen with cookware and cutlery, a private entrance, and a garden patio. Free Wi-Fi and air conditioning are available. Some apartments have a lock-up garage. All apartments are non-smoking.
Amenities
There is no onsite restaurant. Each apartment has its own barbecue (braai) facilities on the patio. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, fridge, and all utensils. Guests can cook meals themselves or use the communal braai area near the pool. The resort hosts a weekly 'bring and braai' evening. The town centre, 500 metres away, has several eateries.
Leisure
The outdoor swimming pool is open year-round and has a shallow end for children. There is a hot tub (Jacuzzi) and a sauna available. The games room includes table tennis, pool table, and board games. Outside, there is a children's playground with a jumping pillow, trampoline, and jungle gyms. A mini-golf course is on site. Sun loungers and beach chairs are available around the pool.
Near Beach and Town
Ingwe Beach is a 14-minute walk from the property. The town centre is about 500 metres away, with shops and restaurants. The resort is set back from the main road, offering privacy. Hiking trails are nearby. Staff can arrange visits to Hluhluwe Game Reserve and boat cruises. Free parking is available on site.
Services
Daily housekeeping is provided, except Sundays. Staff clean dishes and make beds. The reception team can book game drives and boat trips. Free Wi-Fi is available in the apartments. Air conditioning is included, though it uses a prepaid electricity system. There is a safety deposit box. The resort runs a WhatsApp group with activity updates and wildlife alerts. Children's activities are organized daily.
“What strikes me is the genuine warmth and efficiency of the staff, always ready to assist, coupled with the impressive upkeep of the spacious and clean chalets. The abundance of well-maintained recreational activities, from mini-golf to table tennis, ensures a consistently engaging stay for families and individuals alike. It's a place that clearly values guest comfort and a well-rounded experience.”
