Rooms & Accommodation

The resort offers spacious rooms with tasteful decor, including Standard West Wing Double Rooms, Mountain Facing Family Rooms with Balcony, and self-catering chalets (One Open Plan 4 Sleeper and Two Bedroom 6 Sleeper). Each room has a private bathroom, TV, and coffee/tea making facilities. Some rooms overlook the garden, mountain, or pool. Guests mention the rooms are clean but some furnishings are dated.

Dining Options

A buffet breakfast is served daily. Onsite options include the main restaurant (with a terrace overlooking the garden and pool) and the Bistro, which serves pizza, burgers, and chips. The Big Rock Restaurant features a natural boulder inside. Chef Owen is noted for quality food. Dinner buffet is available when guest numbers are sufficient; otherwise a la carte is offered.

Leisure & Activities

Six swimming pools (heated, indoor/outdoor), water slides, and natural hot spring pools are open year-round. The wellness centre includes a sauna, steam rooms, hydrobath, fitness centre, and spa treatments (massage, pedicure, manicure). Activities include quad biking, tennis, horse riding, zip line, archery, mini golf, paintball, volleyball, and a children's playground with trampolines. Many activities are free; some require booking and extra fees.

Location & Access

The resort is on the Battlefields Route between Vryheid and Paulpietersburg, set along the Bivane River. Free private parking is available. The roads to the resort are noted for severe potholes. Nearby attractions include the Bivane River for scenic views and the Battlefields Route for historical sites. Restaurants and shops are in Vryheid, about 20 km away.
