Guests can also order breakfast and enjoy dinner at the bar, which screens live sports. The kitchen uses local ingredients, and the menu includes kids' meals and wine or champagne. For self-caterers, the chalet kitchens are fully equipped, though there is no shop on site for basic supplies.

A heated outdoor swimming pool with deck chairs sits next to the restaurant. The lodge arranges boat trips on the Kosi Bay lake system (a World Heritage Site), guided snorkeling with local expert Fano, diving, and fishing charters. On land, you can join nature walks, walking tours, or pub crawls. Turtle season runs March to November, with hatchlings seen in January and February. The property also has a garden and barbecue facilities.

The lodge overlooks a small dam and is a short walk from the jetty where boat trips launch. The Kosi Bay Mouth is about a 20-minute drive away on a sandy road that may require a 4x4. The Ezemvelo permit office is only 2 km away. Free parking is available, and the lodge offers a shuttle service to nearby attractions. Public transport is limited, so a car is recommended.

Daily housekeeping and laundry services are included. The hosts Jodi and Ray provide detailed advice on activities and can book tours in advance. There is a 24-hour security presence and fire extinguishers. Packed lunches are available for day trips. Wi-Fi is only accessible in the bar/restaurant area and is often unreliable.
