Each free-standing thatched suite includes air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a mini fridge. The private bathroom features an indoor shower and a separate outdoor shower leading off the patio. All suites connect to the central lodge via a raised wooden deck pathway through the tropical garden.

English and continental breakfast is served daily on the outdoor patio. Options include fresh fruit, cereal, toast, juice, coffee, and a hot dish made to order. The fruit starter changes presentation each morning-some days as a kebab, other days in granola cups. The staff can also prepare a packed breakfast for early game drives.

Lodge Afrique is a short walk from the centre of St Lucia, where restaurants and shops are located. Hippos regularly pass by the street near the lodge. Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve is 81 km away, and King Shaka International Airport is 200 km away. Secure parking is available on site.

The staff can book local tours such as estuary boat trips, game drives, and hippo cruises. They also provide tips on restaurants and activities. Laundry service is available (washed and dried the same day). Guests can borrow a cooler box and beach towels for the beach. The lodge offers luggage storage, airport shuttle, and daily housekeeping.
