SANI VALLEY NATURE LODGES - Himeville Hotels

Sani Valley Nature Lodges offers individually decorated chalets overlooking a private lake and the Drakensberg mountains. Each chalet includes a fully equipped kitchen, a seating area with fireplace, and a wooden deck or patio. Some units feature a spa bath. Large glass sliding doors open to the views, and electric blankets are provided for cold nights. The chalets are cleaned daily.

Meals can be arranged at the Clubhouse with prior notice (surcharge). Breakfast is served at the Boathouse with lake views - options include fresh hot dishes and stone-ground mealies with cream and honey. Dinner is delivered to your chalet; menu items include oxtail potjie and fresh trout. The kitchen can accommodate special diets and kids' meals. Packed lunches are available on request.

The property has water sport facilities (canoeing, kayaking), a children's playground, and hiking/cycling trails. Game drives, horse riding, fishing, and golf are also available. Massage and beauty treatments can be booked: full-body hot stone massages, foot massages, and couples massages are offered by trained therapists. The hot tub/Jacuzzi in each chalet is preheated and cleaned daily. Outdoor facilities include BBQ grills, a garden, picnic area, and sun terrace.

The lodges are situated around a privately owned lake in the Sani Valley, 10-15 minutes drive from Himeville and Underberg. The Sani Pass (gateway to Lesotho) is a 30-minute drive away. The last 3 km is a dirt road - a high-clearance vehicle is recommended. Wildlife such as zebra, antelope, wildebeest, and horses freely roam the grounds. Guests can see them from the chalet deck or during walks.

Services include daily housekeeping, concierge, tour desk, express check-in/check-out, luggage storage, and safety deposit boxes. Free WiFi and parking are provided. Airport shuttles (drop-off and pick-up) and local shuttle service can be arranged. Babysitting/child services, ironing, and packed lunches are available. The property is pet-friendly and has designated smoking areas. Staff can organize Sani Pass tours and offer advice on road conditions.
