SUNGULWANE PRIVATE GAME LODGE - Hluhluwe Hotels

Sungulwane Private Game Lodge offers eight Deluxe Suites. Each suite includes a private bathroom with shower, free toiletries, a hairdryer, and slippers. Some suites have both an indoor and outdoor shower. The rooms feature a comfortable bed, air conditioning, a balcony with mountain views, and a tea/coffee maker. Guests can use a golf cart to get from the main lodge to their room.

Breakfast is served buffet-style with continental or Full English/Irish options. The restaurant also offers lunch, high tea, and dinner with a changing menu. Special diet menus and kids' meals are available. Guests can order wine or champagne from the bar. The chef accommodates dietary requests, such as vegan or allergy needs. Twice-daily game drives are led by a guide who tracks wildlife like lions, cheetahs, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo. The reserve also has birdlife and other animals. Sungulwane is located in Hluhluwe within the 31,000-hectare Zuka Private Game Reserve. It is 37 km from Mkuze Game Reserve. The lodge sits below the Lebombo Mountains, and the iSimangaliso Wetland Park (a World Heritage site) borders the reserve. Guests can see animals like hippos and nyala from the lodge's watering hole.
