Nearby restaurants include Fable Taproom, Salt Slab, Mulberry Hill, Tumble Downs, and The Workshop at Dirt Road, which serves a Harvest table of local produce in a rustic country setting. A shopping centre at the Howick end of the road has everyday supplies. Pietermaritzburg Airport is 46 km away.
