UBIZANE ZULULAND TREE LODGE - Hluhluwe Hotels

Rooms sit in a fever tree forest, and each balcony looks out over the canopy. Standard King Rooms and Family Suites come with air-conditioning, a private bathroom, a tea and coffee maker, a refrigerator, and free toiletries. Impalas and nyalas sometimes wander below the balconies.

The family-friendly restaurant serves local South African dishes and has vegetarian options. Breakfast choices include continental, buffet, and full English/Irish. Dinner and high tea are also offered, and special diet menus can be arranged. From the restaurant, guests can watch crocodiles in the pond and weaverbirds in the trees.

The spa offers back, neck, foot, hand, and full-body massages, plus couples massages and foot baths. The outdoor pool has a view, a shallow end, and pool toys. It is in the safari lodge area, about a 5-minute drive from the tree lodge rooms. Guests can join game drives, walking tours, bike tours, and hiking, or attend movie nights and themed dinner nights. Board games and kids' outdoor play equipment are available.

The lodge sits near the Hluhluwe side of Hluhluwe-iMfolozi Park, about 15 minutes' drive from the Memorial Gate. Richards Bay Airport is 100 km away. Giraffes, impalas, kudu, wildebeest, and zebra roam the property.

The 24-hour front desk, concierge, and tour desk can arrange tours and game drives. Daily housekeeping, laundry, and ironing services are available. The lodge has free parking, free WiFi in public areas, a minimarket, BBQ facilities, a picnic area, and a shared lounge. Meeting and banquet facilities are on site.
